The customer, which specialises in the development and manufacture of engines and advanced propulsion systems, was looking for a way to streamline its internal logistics. AMR pilot project featured customer’s first step into the world of automation. Ot started them on their way to a more effective automated internal logistics. Successfully coping with challenging conditions AMR pilot project confirmed the right path – followedand investment, purchase of AMR robots (autonomous mobile robots).
The need to expand AMR - both within the plant and within the Group
Expanding production has brought increasing demands also for internal logistics. After years of reliable operation, it has proven Needed expand fleet with new AMR robots model AMR Pallet Mover IF 1502. Slovak plant Is within the Group at the same time a pilot race for automated logistics (deployment of AMR robots). As the long-term use of AMR has proven its validity, the management Group decided on Move overparts of the AMR fleet to of another foreign plant within the Group. Of course AMR robots shall be vfull 100% condition. Decision for general service was therefore clear step to their second life.
General service - tailor-made solutions
The robots were taken to the service centre where all worn components were replaced, removal of visual defects a complete inspection. After a few days, they were ready for deployment in the new plant – v as new and without compromise.
Added value of AMR solutions: flexibility, sustainability, cost-effectiveness
- AMR fleet expansion in the case of increasing production volumes, use for other logistics processes. The customer was responsible for the implementation of the new processes after training.
- General service = extended lifetime of AMR robots for the next period. With proper care, AMR can indeed be used for a long time.
- Extending automated logistics to new plants within the Group. The pilot plant tried, tested and confirmed the correctness of the chosen path. Subsequent expansion is now risk-free, worry-free, with better preparedness.
- Proven support even after implementation – not just a one-off solution, the delivery of AMR robots. Continuous support in ensuring operation and possible further adjustments. With the right solution, the extent and intensity of support is chosen by the user (e.g. high support = usually higher cost, low cost = usually only use of low-cost remote support).

General servicing of already used AMR equipment is one of the services that differ significantly from the usual, standard solutions on the market.
- Repair even on older models, sometimes with no components available.
- A good partner can also take care of difficult repairs.
- Complete restoration including visual repairs and replacement of moving parts.
