Even in an automated logistics process, situations may occasionally arise where an unusual, unplanned task needs to be handled manually. Autonomous mobile robots with dual-mode functionality are ideal for such situations.
Switching from automatic to manual mode can be done simply by pressing a single button, even when a pallet is loaded on the autonomous mobile robot. The AMR can then be switched back to automatic mode.
In automatic mode, the AMR can operate completely independently, or as part of a fleet of different AMR robots, interacting and cooperating with other robots.
